Having not knowing the specifics of the game (apart from the ending where Monika literally breaks the 4th wall and controls the files), I decided to play the game myself. Even before Jack or Felix had a play-through. You know, initially I found out about this game through a review in October. So we all know what happens to the poor anime girls in this club apart from Monika. I don’t think there’s even a need to put a disclaimer here since everyone pretty much knows the game by now, but YES, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS and memes. If you have somehow not heard of this internet sensation hacking your files and computers by storm, DDLC (or Doki Doki Literature Club) is basically an anime-style visual novel that looks innocent enough, before you get into the nitty-gritty traumatic side of it. I’m sure by now, everyone is either still traumatised, has not played it, has made a Reddit account solely for DDLC memes or is downright sick of the game. The very first ‘review o’clock’ I decided to do was on none other than Doki Doki Literature Club.
